Why a Bromic portable

Bromic portables are designed to improve on the standard mushroom-style heater.
Wider, directed heat
Bromic says the Tungsten Portable can warm an area up to three times larger than a regular portable heater on the same propane tank.
Tilt and aim
The Tungsten Portable heats up to about 12 ft wide and 15 ft deep, with a tilting head to aim the warmth.
Roll it anywhere
A flat base with two wheels lets you tilt the Tungsten Portable and walk it into place.
More room for guests
Place Bromic portables near the edge of a space rather than the center, leaving more room to move around.
Stays lit in the wind
The Tungsten Portable is rated to stay lit in winds up to 8 mph. It runs on propane and can be converted to natural gas.
Eclipse Portable electric

Which portable needs no installation?
The Tungsten Portable propane heater needs no installation: connect a propane tank and roll it into place. The Eclipse Portable is freestanding too, but needs a 220–240V power supply rather than a standard 120V outlet.
Can the Tungsten Portable run on natural gas?
It runs on propane by default and can be converted to natural gas.
How much area does a portable heat?
Bromic lists the Tungsten Portable at about 215 sq ft and the Eclipse Portable at about 121 sq ft. Wind and temperature affect real-world comfort.
