Why Leeward
Built better where it counts
Leeward pairs the look of luxury indoor seating with materials engineered for the toughest outdoor settings, from the pool deck to the coast.
Marine Grade Polymer, rust-free build
Leeward is built with Marine Grade Polymer that won't rot, crack or absorb fresh or salt water. Its color runs all the way through, so it resists chips and fading.
Rain-through cushions
Extra-deep Sunbrella® cushions over quick-dry cores let water pass straight through, so seats dry fast after a storm.
Hidden Motion seating
Each seat gently rocks on its own, without disturbing the person next to you, while the sectional keeps a clean, stationary look.
Suspension strap support
Replaceable suspension straps built into the frame give a supportive, gentle give beneath every cushion.
American-made since 1903
Handcrafted by Telescope Casual in Granville, New York, using American-made parts and materials.
15-year residential warranty

Frequently asked questions
Is Leeward a good choice near the pool or the coast?
Yes. Leeward is built from rust-free materials, including Marine Grade Polymer (MGP), which won't absorb fresh or salt water and won't rot, crack or separate. That makes it well suited to poolside and coastal settings.
What is Hidden Motion?
Hidden Motion lets each seat rock gently and independently, so you can relax without moving the person beside you. From the outside, the sectional keeps the clean look of stationary seating. The corner piece is fixed, since it forms the L-shape turn.
What happens to the cushions when it rains?
Leeward cushions are wrapped in Sunbrella® fabric over outdoor-rated cores with Rain Through Technology. Water passes through quickly instead of pooling, so cushions dry faster and resist mildew.
How long does Leeward take to arrive?
Leeward is made to order by Telescope Casual in Granville, New York, in the options you choose. Build time is typically 3 to 5 weeks, and we'll keep you updated from your order through delivery.
What warranty comes with Leeward?
Leeward cushion seating is backed by Telescope Casual's 15-year residential warranty. Ask us for the full warranty sheet for the pieces you're considering.
Can I see fabric colors before I order?
Yes. We offer free fabric swatches so you can see and feel the options at home. Contact us and tell us which colors you're considering.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum.
Need help planning your layout?
Send us your measurements and how many people you'd like to seat. A real person will help you choose the right Leeward configuration and fabric, and we'll send free swatches.
