Frequently asked questions
How long does a Telescope order take?
Most Telescope pieces are made to order in the frame finish and sling or fabric you choose. Build time is typically 3 to 5 weeks.
What is balcony height?
Balcony height sits between dining and bar height, about 35 inches, so you can see over a railing. Telescope makes chairs and tables in dining, balcony and bar heights.
Which tabletop should I choose?
Slat and Dash are Marine Grade Polymer tops that will not rot or crack; Rustic Polymer has a woodgrain look; Origins is a solid-surface acrylic. See the tabletop guide on the Telescope page.
How many chairs fit my table?
As a rule of thumb, allow about 24 inches of table edge per chair: a 48-inch round seats four, a 60-inch round seats six, and a 42 by 84-inch rectangle seats six to eight.
Can I see finishes and fabrics before I order?
Yes. We send free fabric samples and finish chips. Contact us and tell us which colors you're considering.
How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?
Telescope Casual is made to order in the finish and fabric you choose. We confirm the build time when you order and keep you updated through delivery. Standard delivery is free, and white-glove delivery is free on orders of $7,500 or more.
Planning an outdoor dining room?
Tell us about your space and how many you seat. We'll help you choose a table, chairs, finish and fabric, and send free swatches.
