Which size umbrella do you need?
A good rule: the canopy should reach about two feet past the edge of your table on every side, so everyone sits in the shade.

Cantilever umbrellas
The pole sits off to the side, so there’s nothing in the middle of your seating. Most rotate and tilt to follow the sun, ideal over sectionals and pool loungers.
Bases
Every umbrella needs the right base. A market umbrella through a table needs less weight than one standing on its own; cantilevers use a heavy weighted or plate base. Ask us and we’ll match the base to your umbrella.

What size umbrella do I need?
Aim for a canopy that reaches about two feet past your table on every side: roughly 9 feet for a 4-seat table, 10 to 11 feet for 6 seats, and 11 to 13 feet or a cantilever for larger tables and lounge areas. Send us your table size and we’ll confirm.
Do I need to buy a base separately?
Yes, umbrellas ship without a base unless noted. Through a table, a market umbrella needs less weight than one standing on its own; cantilevers need a heavy weighted or plate base. We’ll help you pick the right one.
Can I leave my umbrella open in the wind?
No umbrella should stay open in strong wind. Close it when the wind picks up and when you’re away, and it will last for years.
How fast do umbrellas ship?
