Overview
Enjoy breathable comfort and flexible seating with the Kettler Basic Plus Multi Position Reclining Armchair. Designed with a lightweight yet strong anthracite aluminum frame and premium Textilene sling, this chair delivers ergonomic support without the need for cushions.
The high backrest reclines to 4 positions so you can sit upright to dine or lean back to relax, while the quick‑drying sling material allows water to drain and air to flow for fast drying after rain. Polymer resin armrests coordinate with the frame and stay cool to the touch in the sun.
A durable A‑frame design enhances stability, and the chair folds quickly into a compact, self‑standing profile for easy storage. Replaceable foot glides help protect your deck and extend the life of the chair, making the Basic Plus an excellent choice for practical, low‑maintenance outdoor seating in any modern space.

The Maker
Kettler
Kettler was founded in 1949 by Heinz Kettler in Ense-Parsit, Germany, initially producing aluminum household goods before shifting to camping furniture in the early 1950s. Still manufactured in Germany today, Kettler is known for its protective Electrotherm finish on wrought iron construction and durable, precision-engineered aluminum frames.

German craftsmanship since 1949.
Throughout the world, KETTLER is a leading brand in patio furniture, fitness equipment, table tennis, foosball, and children's toys. What do all these products have in common? KETTLER products are designed to support the long-term health and well-being of customers young and old, earning the brand recognition for its quality, style, and durability.
Starting in 1949 in Germany — a young Heinz Kettler started a small enterprise in his hometown of Ense-Parsit, Germany. Since then, KETTLER has grown from a small German factory into a group of companies selling KETTLER products internationally.
45 Years in the United States — 2026 marks KETTLER USA's 45th year in the United States, continuing to build relationships with customers across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. The most important part of that success has been the customers who have supported the brand for over 75 years.
