Marine grade questions
Do I need marine grade?
Choose 316L if you live within about 25 miles of saltwater, cook beside a salt or chlorine pool, or want the longest-lasting option. For most backyards, standard 304 stainless is the right choice.
What makes 316L different from 304?
316L adds 2 to 3% molybdenum and more nickel, which resist the pitting and rust that salt air and pool chemicals cause in ordinary stainless. It cooks exactly the same.
Does marine grade change the warranty?
Blaze backs both 304 and 316L grills with its lifetime warranty. We're an authorized dealer, so it's honored in full.
Do you have marine-grade doors and drawers?
Blaze makes marine-grade doors, drawers, jackets and trash bins. Ask us and we'll quote the pieces for your island.
