Do I need an access door under the grill?
Almost always. It gives you access to the gas line and shut-off valve, and on propane islands it's where the tank lives.
Doors or drawers?
Doors give the most open storage for bulky items and tanks. Drawers keep tools, plates and utensils organized and easy to reach.
