Four brands, chosen for how they cook
We carry a short list on purpose. Each of these makers builds in stainless steel for years outdoors, and each does something better than the rest.

Napoleon

Blaze
A complete outdoor kitchen system: grills, griddles, burners, doors, drawers and refrigeration designed to fit together.

Solaire
Infrared specialists. Searing heat in under three minutes, with configurations from compact 21-inch grills to the 56-inch All-Grill.

Lion
Heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel grills and matching components with a straightforward, no-nonsense design.

Anatomy of an outdoor kitchen
Five zones, one island
Great outdoor kitchens are planned in zones. Start with the heat, then add what makes it easy to stay outside.

Outdoor kitchen questions
Built-in or freestanding: which should I choose?
Built-in grills drop into an outdoor kitchen island and give you the cleanest, most permanent look. Freestanding grills come on their own cart, so you can roll them into place with no construction. Many of our built-in grills also come as a freestanding version with the same grill head.
Natural gas or propane?
Choose the fuel you have at the grill location. Natural gas runs from your home's gas line, so you never refill a tank. Propane uses a standard tank and works anywhere. Every grill we sell comes in both versions, and most can be converted later with a conversion kit.
Do I need an insulated jacket?
If your island is built from wood or another combustible material, yes. The jacket is a stainless sleeve the grill sits in, and the manufacturers require it for combustible islands. Islands built from masonry, block or steel studs with cement board usually don't need one, but always check your grill's installation guide.
What does an infrared burner do?
Infrared burners reach much higher, more even heat than standard burners, which is what gives steaks a steakhouse sear. Solaire builds entire grills around infrared, while Napoleon, Blaze and Lion offer infrared sear or rear rotisserie burners on many models.
How big a grill do I need?
As a rough guide: under 500 sq in of cooking area suits 2 to 4 people, 500 to 800 sq in suits most families of 4 to 8, and 800 sq in or more is for regular entertaining. The grill finder will narrow it down for you in about a minute.
How does delivery work?
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 24 hours, and most grills arrive in 5 to 7 business days by freight. Text or call us at (949) 782-7338 if you have questions about your delivery.
Can you help me plan the whole kitchen?
Yes. Send us your space, gas type and budget with the planning form above, and we'll put together a grill and component list with cut-out sizes and prices. It's free and there's no obligation.
