A century of Lloyd Loom

In 1917 Marshall B. Lloyd invented a loom that wove wicker as well as thirty skilled weavers, and Lloyd Loom furniture filled American porches and sunrooms. More than a century later, Lloyd Flanders still weaves it in the same Menominee, Michigan factory, now in all-weather materials for every style of outdoor room.

Lloyd Loom starts as paper twisted into strands, woven on Marshall Lloyd's loom into a tight wicker fabric, then fitted over each frame by hand.

Where is Lloyd Flanders furniture made?

In Menominee, Michigan. Lloyd Flanders furniture is still handcrafted in the original factory, where the company has made furniture for more than a century.

What is Lloyd Loom®?

Lloyd Loom® is the weaving process Marshall B. Lloyd patented in 1917. It produces the tight, even weave that gives Lloyd Flanders wicker its signature look, and it is still used today in all-weather materials.

How long does it take to arrive?

Every piece is made to order in the fabrics and finishes you choose, and typically ships within 4 to 5 weeks. We'll keep you updated from your order through delivery.

Is it only wicker?

No. Alongside all-weather wicker, Lloyd Flanders offers solid teak in the Alpine and Teak collections, and aluminum with faux-wood styling in Frontier and Pursuit.

Can I see fabric colors before ordering?

Yes. We offer free fabric swatches. Contact us and tell us which collection and colors you are considering.

Is shipping free, and do you price match?

Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum, and we offer a price match guarantee as an authorized Lloyd Flanders dealer.
