Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between chat and occasional height?
Chat-height Capri fire pits are 24" tall (25" on the 30" round), matched to lounge chairs and swivel rockers. Occasional-height pits are 19", like a coffee table, and suit low sofas and sectionals. The 30" and 36" rounds come in chat height only.
Capri or Santorini?
Both are OW Lee iron fire pits with porcelain tile tops, in the same seven sizes and 14 frame finishes. Capri has a fully welded base with clean, modern lines; Santorini has a more traditional Mediterranean-inspired base. Pick the one that matches your furniture.
What size fire pit do I need for four chairs?
A 42" or 54" round comfortably serves four lounge chairs or swivel rockers. In front of a sofa or sectional, choose a rectangle: the 28" x 72" suits long sectionals.
Can the fire pit match my OW Lee table?
Yes. Capri fire pits offer the same porcelain tile tops OW Lee uses on its tables, in a choice of frame finishes, so a fire pit and dining table can match. See every tile in OW Lee tabletops explained.
Do Capri fire pits run on natural gas?
Every Capri ships propane-ready and converts to natural gas with an optional conversion kit, chosen in the fuel picker on each product page. Low occasional-height pits are too short for a standard upright tank, so plan on an OW Lee specialty propane tank or a natural gas line.
Where are OW Lee fire pits made?
OW Lee furniture is handcrafted to order in Comfort, Texas. The company was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, California.
Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is free on every order. Fire pits also qualify for white-glove delivery, which is free on orders of $7,500 or more, so a fire pit with a seating set usually qualifies.
