Frequently asked questions
Which Elba fire pits are Quick Ship?
The 42" round and the 30" x 50" rectangle at chat height, each in three combinations: Graphite with Summit Grey, Copper Creek with Canyon Taupe, or Sandalwood with Palazzo White, with matching mirrored fire glass. They ship in 5 to 10 business days. Every other Elba size and finish is made to order, usually shipping in 4 to 6 weeks.
What is the difference between occasional, chat, dining and counter height?
Occasional height is about 19", like a coffee table, for deep sofas and sectionals. Chat height is about 24" for lounge chairs and swivel rockers. Elba also comes in dining height (about 29") for dining chairs and counter height (about 38") for counter stools.
Elba or Santorini?
Both have OW Lee porcelain tile tops and come in the same 14 frame finishes. Elba is all aluminum, so it is lighter and will not rust, a good fit near a pool or the coast, and it is the only one in dining and counter height and in Quick Ship. Santorini is hand-forged iron with a more traditional Mediterranean base.
Do Elba fire pits run on natural gas?
Every Elba ships propane-ready and converts to natural gas with an optional conversion kit, chosen in the fuel picker on each product page. Low occasional-height pits are too short for a standard upright tank, so plan on an OW Lee specialty propane tank or a natural gas line.
Where are OW Lee fire pits made?
OW Lee furniture is handcrafted to order in Comfort, Texas. The company was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, California.
Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is free on every order. Fire pits also qualify for white-glove delivery, which is free on orders of $7,500 or more, so a fire pit with a seating set usually qualifies.
