Frequently asked questions
Who is Skargaarden?
Skargaarden was founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife designers Jari and Anna Visuri in Gävle, on Sweden's Baltic coast. Their furniture blends Scandinavian restraint with American Shaker and Bauhaus influences.
How do I care for teak furniture?
Wash with mild soap and water and a soft brush, then rinse. Left alone, teak weathers to a soft silver-gray. To keep its warm honey color, clean it and apply a teak sealer or oil made for outdoor furniture.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on the piece. Ask us and we'll confirm the timing for any Skargaarden piece before you order.
What warranty does Skargaarden offer?
Every piece is new from Skargaarden with the maker's warranty. As your authorized dealer, we handle any claim for you.
What does delivery cost?
Standard delivery is free on every order, and white-glove delivery is free on orders of $7,500 or more.
