The Maker
Panama Jack
Panama Jack began in 1974, when former University of Florida football player Jack Katz started selling suntan oil from a van on Florida's beaches. What grew into a lifestyle brand known for suncare, apparel, and beach culture expanded into outdoor furniture in 2011, when Panama Jack partnered with Pelican Reef Group as its worldwide licensee for outdoor and sunroom furniture.

The endless summer lifestyle, since 1974.
Panama Jack was founded in 1974 by Jack Katz, who set out to bring the relaxed, breezy feeling of the tropics into everyday life. What started on Florida's beaches grew into one of the most recognizable lifestyle brands around, built on a simple idea: people don't just want products, they want to feel a certain way when they use them.
Panama Jack Outdoor furniture carries that same spirit into wicker, aluminum, and teak collections crafted for comfort and built to hold up to the elements — so you can bring a little island living into your own backyard, wherever that happens to be.
