The story
Started in a small steel shop. Still family-owned.
Napoleon began in 1976, when Wolfgang and Ingrid Schroeter opened a small steel fabrication shop in Barrie, Ontario. The company is still owned and run by the Schroeter family, and it now builds grills sold across North America.
What sets a Napoleon apart is the cooking: the infrared SIZZLE ZONE for a steakhouse sear, a rear rotisserie burner, and on Connected and Elite models, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so you can watch the cook from your phone.

Which Napoleon is right for me?
The Prestige series covers most families: 500 or 665 sizes, an infrared side burner and rotisserie. Step up to Prestige PRO for more cooking area and heavier construction, or the Built-In 700 Series for an outdoor kitchen island. The grill finder will match you in a minute.
What is the Phantom finish?
Phantom is Napoleon's matte black finish across the lid, body and knobs. On the Prestige 500 Connected you can choose Stainless or Phantom Matte Black on the same product page.
Natural gas or propane?
Every Napoleon grill we sell comes in both. Choose the one that matches your fuel supply on the product page.
